Has anybody seen Fanboys? I just saw it the other day and was surprised I hadn't ever heard about it (my husband had i guess which is how we came to rent it). anyways i really liked it and was curious what others thought. also- was i just completely clueless or was there not really any advertising for this movie whenever it came out?
i loved seeing the idealistic hope in all those people going to see episode I ... it was sweet and heartbreaking. what is that called? dramatic irony? (when the audience knows something the characters don't) well whatever it's called, it worked well for me.

Yes I thought that "idealistic hope" was funny because I remember feeling that way. It certainly wasn't a new hope.

I recently watched this I really liked it.

This movie is good fun. "It's been parsecs!" Dan Fogler plays the same character he always plays and does a great job.

I, however, as a geek objected to the fact that people supposedly are Trek or Wars and cannot be both. Can't we all just get along?

I am one of those who is both a trek and wars fan. But in the star wars universe I only like the Holy Trilogy. In Trek i like the shitty ones as well as the good except for enterprise and most of voyager.
