i'm still catching up on past podcasts and i heard today the confusion between natalie portman vs kiera knightly (in regards to garden state but i forget which podcast)
well... i figured out awhile ago that there's a conspiracy. kiera IS natalie! they are the same person. they must be - and here's my proof - have they ever been in the same movie together? noo (i don't think so anyways) so therefore... must be the same person. once i figured that out, i didn't feel so stupid for getting them confused. you guys shouldn't either.

They were both in Phantom Menace. Kiera played Natalie's double.

well ... maybe i can make this support my conspiracy somehow.
oh i know... if we take the denial route it still works (as in: we are in denial that a movie called phantom menace even exists.)

haha, no, i just use that name on a lot of boards and in a lot of podcasts, on youtube, etc.


and for all of the things that i don't like about ep1, it did give us Ray Park and the awesomeness of the modern lightsaber fight and I'd say that lightsaber fights of that caliber cover a multitude of sins.

didn't i hear a suggestion (was it on this podcast? my memory is awful) that somebdoy should make an edited version of the movie without jarjar.. maybe then i'd watch it again. i haven't been able to watch it since i saw it when it came out...

Meh, I was young enough when the movie came out that I was still in the "Haha, Jar-Jar is funny" age group. Now I find him irritating, but not anywhere as much as the old school Star Wars fans.

There are a couple of recut versions floating around. One is called The Phantom Edit. You may find them on file sharing sites.

but i guess 18 vs. 11 (10 yrs ago when the movie came out ) is a big difference in movie humor though
